The RVCC baseball team defeated Ocean County College Friday by a final score of 6 to 5. Sophomore third baseman Kyle Dotey delivered a walk off, two RBI single in the ninth inning to complete the comeback. Ocean County took a 5-0 lead, yet the Golden Lions rallied for four runs in the eigth inning and two in the ninth. 

Dotey got the offense started in the eight inning, as his double knocked in Nick Cuba and Eric Drzewiecki. Sophomore outfielder Joseph Mastrobattista delivered a two run single as well in the eighth inning. In the ninth, Cuba, Drzewiecki and Mike Dolan each singled which set up Dotey's heroics. 

Pitching for the Golden Lions was freshman Tom Sharfetz, who went 8.1 innings, allowing 5 runs and racking up 6 strikeouts and no walks. 

Next up is a doubleheader home  Saturday the 19th against Globe Institute of Technology starting at 12 pm.
