June 8^th, 2018 – Chautauqua, NY - Freshman golfer Michael Haliscak represented Raritan Valley Community College at this year’s National Tournament at Chautauqua GC in Chatauqua, NY. The NJCAA Divison III National Championship hosted by Jameston Community College was a week-long event with players from all over the country arriving Monday June 4^th for a practice round and finishing up Friday June 8^th . Each golfer played eighteen holes a day over the next four days with Haliscak finishing Fridaywith his tournament low round of 84. The lefty golfer from Voorhees High School finished in fourth place in the Region XIX tournament at Galloping Hill to earn the right to compete against the best NJCAA Division III golfers from around the nation. Mike was one of three freshmen on the golf team this year for RVCC who is well positioned to make a run as a team next year in the Region XIX Tournament.
